· Save The Date

The save the date card is a notice to your guests for them to save that date. Its purpose is more about telling people not to make any plans on the said day. It does not contain much about the details of the wedding, because sometimes those details are yet to be settled, still, you want your guests to add your big day to their agenda.


What Do I Include?

Your save the date should include your names, the date, and details of the location. You should also let your guests know that a formal invitation will be sent at a later date.


When Do I Send It?

The right time to send your save the date depends on the kind of wedding you’re having; a safe time is between 6 to 12 months before the wedding. If you are having a destination wedding, you need to give your guests plenty of time to make arrangements so between 9 to 12 months before the date is advisable.
