The Phoenix is Waco’s premier entertainment venue. Once home to the Crawford Austin Manufacturing Co., the building was used for the manufacturing of tents and tarps during both world wars. Until April of 2007, the building had been left unused and in disrepair. After months of hard work and dedication, the Phoenix Ballroom now truly shines with over 10,000 square feet of breathtaking original hardwood floors, elegant chandeliers, and a magnificent fireplace. The Phoenix can easily accommodate 400 guests at banquet style seating, and is perfect for any event, big or small.
Since The Phoenix opened as an event center, it has been host to many splendid weddings, receptions, anniversary parties, holiday celebrations, and many other events. We are honored to be a part of the meaningful moments in our guests’ lives and strive to be an effortless part of the happy memories created here. Nothing could please us more than to become a part of your family’s tradition as your favorite location for wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, baby showers, bridal showers, christenings, birthday parties, anniversaries, bar and bat mitzvahs, quincenearas, corporate events, fundraisers and other joyous occasions.
The Phoenix also offers a choice of several different sizes tables and chairs, which are included in the rental and are set up and taken down to your specifications. Also, you won’t have to worry about parking for your guests as the Phoenix offers over 183 individual parking slots.
